Vintage GPO Telephone Butler Extension Bell Box Unit.

A lovely little vintage find for the telephone enthusiast.

The back plate is made of metal with holes ready for wall attachment. There are 2 brass bells with a striker between and a small length of cable still attached.

Removable front cover enabling access to the components and wiring.

In great original condition with no rust, no paint splashes or modifications.

Measures approximately 5" wide at the bells  x 7" in length.

Was fitted  at my parents home in 1967 and was used until the early 80's when the exchanges were updated and a newer line and  phone were installed but has only recently been taken down off the wall.  Rings out very loud so would be especially suitable for the hard of hearing.

Would look lovely with the bells given a proper clean with some metal polish then either re used or simply as a retro statement piece in a themed room or even film set.

All my vintage items are from my own family collection in a pet and smoke free home.
