A spectacular and beautiful looking old mantle clock of the very best of Victorian era qualities by this most famous of German clock makers considered Avant-garde in its time . A solid oak hand carved case with gilt Ormolu & silvered face details with two smaller subsidiary dials for regulation and chime selection . Marked with pencil 14/3/1905 which is the presumed date of a service . To double strike on the quarter hour 2x double on the half hour 3x double on the quarter to and then strikes to count the hour running for 8 days and longer on a full wind . The clock has been recently serviced cleaned and regulated and presents in excellent condition ready to use with original key please see all pictures and specifications.
