Over the years I've picked up many Japanese woodblock print odds and ends from flea markets, auctions, and even in Japan itself.  Now, in the spirit of Marie Kondo, I am doing some year-end decluttering.  I've had my enjoyment of these, and it's time to pass them on and let others have their pleasure of them for a while.   This is a large print displaying the courtly practice of horsemanship, which revolved around the chasing of dogs on horseback.  The design shows several stages of this practice, as well as spectators.  Various types of people and horses.  This dates to the late Meiji period (c. 1910). The print is folded in the center and has a very small insect hole at the bottom, across the fold. USA shipping this week is FREE.  [International buyers, please add $10 per package (not per print) to defray costs (at that price, for airmail, I will be covering some of them.)]
