OBJECT// Antique Japanese very unusual and fine Netsuke of Hotei hiding within a huge sack of gifts, hotei is one of the Seven gods of good fortune in Japanese mythology , the boxwood with a good rich patina, signed  Houkei , the design forming a good compact Netsuke . Dating from the 19th century, Meiji Period. Like all good Netsuke this object is good from every angle including the bottom , superb colour and patina, serious collectors object. (PART OF A LARGE PRIVATE COLLECTION SO PLEASE SEE MY OTHER ITEMS)
