1960s Zentra Watch Mens Mechanical Cal ETA 1080 Swiss Gold Plated Running Fast
Item is "Used" but in Excellent Condition considering its age. Signs of wear should be expected
A 1960s Zentra Mens Watch that measures approx 34mm excluding the crown. The watch is running but gains significant time. It will need a service. I have been told the watch has been in a drawer since the late 80s so I think it just needs a good clean but cannot be certain ofcourse.
From research, the watch seems to be cased and timed by Elgin National Watch Co which they collaborated with a number of brands.
The gold case is in very good condition with minimal wear. The crystal seems to be original and surprisingly in Mint Condition. The crown winds and sets the time as it should.
The silver "Pie-Pan" style textured dial is in overall great condition too. A few marks that can most likely be carefully cleaned. Original hands. The red seconds hand really pops!
Powered by Calibre ETA 1080, Mechanical movement with 17 Jewels. The watch runs without stopping, but does gain time. A service is required
