Excellent limited edition framed plaque by Wedgwood featuring George Stubbs frightened horse based on a painting by George Stubbs around 1765 which hangs in the Yale centre for British.
The plaque is produced in Wedgwood's famous black basalt and looks very impressive as you can see in the images. The plaque has superb quality of modelling and of a high standard as you would expect from a limited edition range. This plaque is 163 out of 250 and was produced in 1973
T he plaque is set in an antique style flock mount (which is a little dusty from storage)as typical to Wedgwood of this period. There is a name plaque set to the front of the frame, and the Wedgwood mark is impressed to the reverse with and gold printed details.

Condition
Plaque is in very good condition no chips or cracks and the frame is also in very good condition.
The original plastic wrap is still on the hanging chain and it doesn't look like it has ever been hung or displayed!
The plaque is large and heavy!
