There is no real damage except some normal nicks and a nice patina to the dark stain or Black paint. Nice Shabby Chic look with the worn paint, you can't reproduce this look. This thing is WELL MADE and has Great sturdy construction. Good for a Breakfast Bar or Island Counter, use for a plant stand.
