Antique French Victorian Napoleons hat mantel clock dating to the 19th century circa 1870. The clock, of arched form, features a large white enamel dial with black hand painted Roman numerals, minute marks and moon phase hands. The dial is protected by a round thick bevelled glass door surrounded by an ormolu bezel. The mechanism is protected by a door. The whole is raised on a stepped base.
The single train mechanical movement runs for 8 days and comes complete with its pendulum and winding key.
