Seller: jayjayu (1.251) 100%, Location: Cornwall, Ships to: Americas, Europe, Asia, AU, Item: 383104607266 A lovely compact Elliott mantel clock, retailed by Mappin & Webb with a French escapement. This clock runs well and has been keeping excellent time, it has Arabic numerals, a silver chapter ring and is in an Art Deco style wooden case with a light oak veneer. There are a few nicks to the edges of the veneer and some heat marks on the sides of the case, the brass bezel has some rub but it still displays well. It has a very quiet tick. On the base are some numbers, 6/65 which I believe is the date (June 1965) 2920 is the case shape and there are two letters DZ. Measures approx' 11.5cm high, 12cm wide & 7cm deep and weighs 965g.
