Elaborate and beautiful, and a rare setting for 12.  Vintage Madeira hand embroidered 25 piece linen placemat set - dense embroidery, a multitude of flowers, and touches of lace. White on gray. Perfect for a wedding, striking and lovely! The 12 placemats measure approx 11 x 16 inches, the 12 napkins about 16 x 16 inches, and the table runner 16.5 x 40 inches. Very good condition, gently used. Hand laundered, bright and clean, table ready. No holes or worn spots. We note a couple of detached connectors on two placemats, some openings in the lace embellishments, some frays at the edges, and a couple of napkins slightly lighter in shade than the others. Minor, and all easily forgiven.  A gorgeous set - looks fabulous.
