A 19th century French gilt metal and bronze mantle clock. The clock with a cold painted bronze finial figure of a farming maiden, with hay bales and wheat sheaves behind. The clock face with enamelled dial and Roman numerals. Fleur de lis decoration atop scrolled floral feet. Marked to mechanism E. Marguin a Paris. Complete with winder and pendulum.
This clock has been running for over a week I wound it up but now runs for 20 mins then stops
The clock needs a service the wind mechanism for the chime is not working there is no tension
