This clock is an extremely beautiful vintage walnut and bronze ormolu mounted georgian style bracket clock, it has its absolutely amazing look to it all in immaculate condition with superb design and stunning size Case is constructed from walnut with a superb patina, colour and finish to it with stunning various bronze mounts surrounding the case that are all in excellent condition with good patina and minimal age wear The clock has a full length glazed front door which hinges open to reveal access to the dial, there are pierced fret and silk panels on the either side of the case that are both in great original condition The case has a hinged back door which protects the movement The case is in great condition with no damage. The finish to the walnut case is also very good with a good sheen and patina to it as i am sure you can see from the pictures. Absolutely stunning high quality bracket clock not to be missed and stunning size It has a superb bronze and silver chapter ring dial with roman numeral and original hands, the dial is in great original condition, the arched dial has a moon phase to the top which is all linked up with the movement and works in accordance with the movement, the dial is signed John Smith of London along with the movement with serial number The clock has an 8 day spring driven 2 bell ting tang striking movement with an balance wheel escapement, the movement is in full working order keeping good time and striking the 2 bells as it should as can be seen in the video above. The case has a comple of retailers stamps and logos to back of it inside door etc The clock measures 10 inches high x 6.75 inches wide x 4.75 inches deep
