Absolutely Gorgeous 54 Piece Canteen of Silver Plated Cutlery by celebrated maker Harrison Fisher
Made and retailed between 1900 and 1925, so now probably 100+ years old, yet looks very lightly used, if at all - no usage marks showing on any of the knves, and the rest of the cutlery with light marks commensurate with having been stored in a canteen together - no loss of plate that I can see - a really lovely set....!!
As follows:-
6 Dinner Knves, 6 Side Knves, 6 Dinner Forks, 6 Side Forks, 6 Fish Knves and Forks, 6 Dessert Spoons, 6 Soup Spoons, 4 Serving Spoons a carving fork and a sharpening steel - all in original fitted box and all in identical pattern with the same markings (H.F and Co. S.) to reverse.
Rare to find such a complete set, all from the same maker, with just the carving knfe missing - I do have an old spare from another set which I am happy to include if you wish it....
In any event, a really good canteen, 54 pieces that would grace any dinner table, and presented in an Oak Canteen which is in great shape for its age with working claps
Condition report - Looks largely if not totally unused, and in very good order, ready to go.
