For auction here is this beautiful porcelain and ormolu "Marie-Antoinette" clock by Franklin Mint. The gold parts are plated with 22-carat gold and the face is set with more than sixty Austrian crystals. This superb , Louis XVI-style, lyre-shaped clock was authorised by the Victoria and Albert museum. The clock is marked with a Franklin mint stamp to the base and dates to around 1990-99.
The case contains a quality movement, which strikes the hours and half hours on a melodious bell and is working very well. Comes complete with a key.
The clock measures 15 1/4 inches high and is approximately 6 1/2 inches wide at the base. In excellent vintage condition - please view photos for details.
