                                     VINTAGE STERLING SILVER WEIGHTED SALT AND PEPPER SHAKER SET BY DUCHIN

This sterling silver urn-shaped salt and pepper shaker set weighs 10.4 oz. together.  They are weighted with a glass liner, so I do not know the weight of the sterling.    They are made by Duchin - the logo appears on the bottom of each shaker. Each one is 4 1/2” tall and 1 5/8” across the widest points.  They have a rope trim embellishment around the base and around the rim of the upper portion of the shaker. 

This shaker set is in good vintage condition - some dark spots on the cap and side of the salt shaker (does NOT appear to be corrosion, the silver seems intact, just dark) and they could probably be polished better than I have done it here. There is a tiny bit of irregularity in the salt cap (see photo #5), not a real dent, but there some small dings on the sides of the shakers. See all photos for a clear view of condition.
