Seller: oh-no-not-him-again (2.866) 100%, Location: Kirkwall, Ships to: GB & many other countries, Item: 293195055567 Unusual early English lever clock movement, believed to be pre-1850 due to the word "Fast" being engraved as "Faft". I have tried to show the escapement as effectively as possible. The movement is very heavy with a large solid brass frontplate and a heavy brass bridge to hold the barrel and second wheel. The "pocket watch" style part has the wheels from centre wheel to escape wheel. There is no signature or name anywhere. One screw on the barrel bridge has been replaced. The movement is working although it may benefit from a clean in order to go the full 8 days. Diameter of frontplate 110mm. Please also see my other items, more of which may be added over the coming days.
