From the celebrated postwar series:' One Hundred New Views of Japan through Pictorial Woodcuts '. Published by the Kyodo News Service , Tokyo, in 1963.These limited edition folio prints coincided with the publication of the same series in book format. Printed on good-quality washi using modern Lithographic techniques. (Thus an 'art print' of the Woodcut, not an original woodblock print). The Shin-Hanga movement celebrated the individual creativity of a 'new wave' of Japanese Artists, many of whom designed, painted, cut and printed their own work.
