Outstanding French 19th Century Figural Bronze Ball Clock Garniture with Striking Movement and Snake Hands, in Superb Condition

Superb ornate French ball clock with a cherub surmounting a ball, in superb condition, with matching candelabra. Ornate snake hands are beautiful. No damage to this set anywhere. I had suspected that the balls on the clock and the candelabra have been repainted, as I have never seen French clocks with such an unusual color. But an eBayer who owned this set in the past contacted me and said that he believes that the paint is original. So, I will leave it to the new owner to decide. Either way, the paint job is outstandingly well done. The striking movement is signed with an anchor. The movement is clean, strikes and runs perfectly. Rear door screws in. Bell and pendulum were removed to take a better picture of the movement, but are included with the clock (I will include a key, as well). I actually bought this set with the candles in the photos, if you want the candles, I'll happily include them too. Pictures speak for themselves, but do let me know if you have any additional questions. The clock measures 13.5" (34 cm) high and 15" (38 cm) wide, candelabra is 19" (48 cm) high (without the candles). The set is fairly heavy.
