Up for sale is a Miniature Framed Hand Painted Portrait on Porcelain. Featuring a hand painted portrait on porcelain of a beautiful lady in a white and green dress. The portrait is un-signed and is framed in a wooden gold gilt art nouveau style frame with a green velvet matt. I believe the portrait is not original to this particular frame. I believe the portrait and velvet matt are antique (around 1850s-1890s) and is framed in a 1920s or newer wooden frame. There is light wear to the painting, fading to the green velvet matt and light wear and abrasions to the frame as seen in the photos. Otherwise the piece is in great condition and still displays beautifully. Measurements are approximately: Frame: 5 3/4" Tall x 5 3/4" Wide. Portrait: 3 5/8" Diameter.
