This is a great original clock dating from the 1800/30 period. The dial is silvered brass with engraved numbers and markers. It also has the makers name, city along with nice original moon hands. The glass at the front has bubbles and ripples, a sure sign that this is original. There is a key for the front and rear doors. The flame mahogany case does have some losses and repairs to the veneer and mouldings and a Gadroon top. Please see all the photos and study them carefully as it forms part of the description. The brass pineapple finial has some age but is not original, the fish scale side frets are however original as are the original ring handles and bun feet. Measures 16.5in tall without finial x 11in wide x 6.5in deep. This original and top quality double fusee movement has nicely shaped plates and operates on a wire and gut. It has its original pendulum, locking nut, winding and bell. The movement is working well and keeping time and losing about 2 mins per day. It has a key that's not originalA great early and original clock, for restoration to the case. This quality piece deserves a quality restoration.
