Stevens & Williams was a prominent glass manufacturer based in Stourbridge, England, known for its high-quality glassware produced during the 19th and early 20th centuries. The company was established in the mid-19th century and gained a reputation for its innovative glassmaking techniques and artistic designs. They produced a wide range of glass items, including vases, bowls and scent bottles.
The company's glassware was highly regarded and collected by enthusiasts around the world. Their work is considered a prime example of the Victorian and Art Nouveau glassmaking styles. Unfortunately, like many glass manufacturers, Stevens & Williams faced challenges with changing tastes and economic fluctuations, and the company eventually closed in the early 20th century.
Today, their glass pieces are prized by collectors and museums for their historical and artistic value.
