SS304 Grade Soffit Mesh Rolls For Insect Screening Your Roof 

We have two mesh options that we can use for this requirement:

• #16 mesh (16 holes per linear inch)
• 0.28mm wire diameter
• 1.31mm aperture
• 68% Open Area
• 0.672 KG/M2

Or

• #22 mesh (22 holes per linear inch)
• 0.22mm wire diameter
• 0.94mm aperture
• 0.53 KG/M2
• 66% open area

Either of these options is ideal for this requirement. We will use either depending on what we have on the shelf at the time of order. Please contact us if you want to be specific about which option suits you best.

Soffit Mesh

This range of insect screening materials have been cut down on our slitting machine to smaller widths. These small widths are ideal for use behind guttering and in cladding to prevent the invasion of myriad bugs from entering a home. We can also offer bespoke widths of each mesh. Please email us if you require any further information.

About Us

We are a 150 year old wire mesh manufacturing group based in Warrington UK - Locker Wire Weavers. The Mesh Company is the retail division of this group. We have been trading since 2007. We are able to pretty much offer any mesh size that you may desire. Please contact us directly if you require something a little more specific.

Metal Grade

304 is the industry standard woven wire mesh stainless steel grade. SS304 has a good oxidation resistance at roughly 870°C to 925°C depending on use and environment. We recommend 316 if you require a higher resistance to heat. SS304 can be used for many applications. It is often found in kitchens, wine and beer making equipment, chemical containers, architectural panels and quarry screens. Composition - C 0.08, Mn 2.0, Si 0.75, P 0.045, S 0.030, Cr 20.0, Ni 10.5, N 0.10 SS304 also has outstanding forming and welding characteristics.

Plain Weave

Plain weave woven wire cloth is used for the majority of wire cloth woven by The Mesh Company. Each warp wire crosses alternately above and below every weft wire and vice versa. Warp and weft wires are normally of the same diameter. Plain weaves are used for the majority of commercial applications and for filtration where a high flow rate is required.

Mesh Company will test any and all items returned under its warranty terms. Should said item/s be deemed in operational and working order, buyer will be responsible for the return postage. Refunds will only be given to items received in a timely manner and packed in the same packaging they were originally sent. Items that have been fitted or damaged in any way will not receive a refund, item must be in a resalable state.
