Well designed to hold your mattress secure, without drilling into rails. This makes them easy to install ...  Our clips are 3 inches wide, because we have found they're able to secure and stabilize most slats from sliding.  We started fabricating this Flat Top Rail Clip   10 years ago. The Original designer/manufacturer is us.    We have never had a complaint on this item :-) We also offer in another ebay listing bed rail extenders   (ebay  Item number: 252379563067 )   that will allow you to fit a larger mattress on your bed  ( fit  queen  mattress on a full or  full on a 3/4 bed) these  will fit either the angle up or angle  down style  rail.  Recent review of bed  issue  before clips " After trying to pick my mattress up off the floor at 3:30 in the morning by myself and not for the first time....
