The fine antique sterling silver ashtrays have an asymmetrical, octagonal At Deco style. Engine turned and diagonal line tooled decoration to the angular shaped rims which also have two diagonally opposed curved cigarette receivers. Plain circular well to each ashtray. Fitted within the original hinged leatherette box, with a satin lined interior which displays the retailer's mark 'Walker & Hall, Sheffield, London'. Some wear to the outside of the box as shown. Inside very good. Maker: Walker & Hall Date/Hallmarked: 1937 - lovely and clear Assay Office: BirminghamCombined weight of Ashtrays 86 grammes, measure 3 1/4" across.
