Set 6 1870's Antique MINTON TILES Aesop's Fables Black / cream A1 condition .
On offer is this set of six antique Minton Tiles from the 1870’s.
They are from the famous Aesop’s Fable series designed by John Moyr Smith for Minton’s Enameled Tile - China Works at Stoke on Trent in England.
They were part of a washstand backsplash and were mounted in a wood frame . For this reason they are near perfect condition with no cement to the back . One tile , the stork and the wolf has a corner reglue , the others are excellent .

The tiles measure 6" X 6" .
3 of them have the Minton trademark to the back .
The tiles weigh over 5 1/2 pounds unwrapped and will be double boxed for shipping .
