If one wishes to have all 5 branches on each piece they will each just require a small solder. The two separate branches are not damaged, as they were merely removed professionally solely because the previous owners wanted to place the Clock Garniture closer to a wall which would not have been possible with all 5 branches attached. With current homes often having such limited space, I think it was a very ingenious idea of the previous owners to think of doing this and the piece is equally as impressive either way. This is a far more elegant looking clock than most that are currently on the market. The combination of both the Marble, the Gilt Lion metal mounts and the fabulous matching candelabras really sets this Time-Piece apart from others that you so often see for sale.
