Item Description

Dishes

This pair of unusual copper dishes date from the late 19th Century to the early 20th Century.

One dish has an red enamel fish decoration in the centre, possibly a Koi Carp.

The other dish has an enamel insect decoration in the centre.

Its hard to determine where these dishes were originally made. They could be Japanese. Please see photo's for further inspection.

The rear of each dish has black cloisonne material on them, which is damaged in different areas.

Also the rear of each dish is signed I think with a faint pen: HAY ELTON LAY (or ELTONLAY) PEPT" (or PE86TE or PE&6TE, its hard to see).

Size of item: L: 10.5cm.

Condition of item: The dishes have wear, there are dirty marks/ old brass polish marks on them.

Like I have previously stated the black cloisonne on the rear of each dish is damaged in different areas.

Overall the dishes are in good condition.

The enamel on the fish and insect decotration looks good. They have minmal wear.

Payment

For UK buyers I only accept Paypal, Postal Order, Personal Cheque and sometimes cash on collection for larger items.

I only accept Paypal for International Buyers.

I will accept Returns for My Auction Listings. Once an item has been received you have 4 working days to return the item in the exact same condition it was sent out in. Buyer Always pays returned postage.

If you have at least 3 Non paying cases against your name then I will block or/ and retract bids from the buyer. This is due to having a large number of Non paying bidders in the past.

If you have Non paying cases against you and you want to bid on an item listed. Then you can contact me before bidding and maybe I will allow you too bid, if you are a serious buyer.

Spiteful Bidders who do not pay, will be Reported to Ebay.

P&P and Delivery information

I only send my parcels by Royal Mail or Parcel Force. I usually try to send parcels within 4 working days of payment. To add insurance to a parcel please contact me before payment and I can provide further postage service.

I am very conscientious about our environment so I do reuse packaging (mainly cardboard boxes). Sometimes I do buy a specific sized box for an item and always use quality materials so the that the item will reach you safely and in a timely manner.

Unfortunately I am not in charge of the rise in postage prices, I only put a small amount of money on top of postal costs to cover some packaging.

I like to keep the cost of postage and packaging as low as I can for the buyers. Sometimes I do not always get it right, so if for any reason you feel I have over charged on postage costs then please contact me straight away and i can refund any difference there is.

Combining Postage:

I can combine postage costs on certain items, especially within the UK.

For International buyers the items have to fit inside a small box that weighs under 2kgs.

If you are interested in more than one of my items then please contact me before bidding or winning the item/ items for combined postage costs.

Please note for International buyers : I ONLY sxend items by International Signed For small packet as its a tracked service. You (the buyer) needs to know if you are allowed the item to be entered into your country and any customs charges or extra postal charges will always be paid by the buyer.

Sadly due to items going missing in the past I don't ship to Italy anymore.

I have been collecting/ hoarding and trading in Antiques & collectables for most of my life. Antiques can be subjective and not an exact science, sometimes I may not get it quite right. I would warmly receive any advice and information on any of my items.

All of my items have been USED , unless stated.

I rarely end my items early on an auction format so please don't ask me too.

For my Buy it now items only, I am always willing to consider a best offer and can usually negotiate on price, so please send me your best offers.
