It is hallmarked for London 1846 with the maker’s marks being SH over DC for Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater. It has been superbly designed to an unusual pattern with the terminal being engraved with the Stewart Family crest and motto (more precisely the crest of Robert King, Esquire, of Murdostoun Castle, Newmains, Lanarkshire see https://www.myfamilysilver.com/pages/crestfinder-crest.aspx?id=176398&name=Stewart ).
