Item:312829555343This auction is for a rare antique French carriage clock by Delepine-Barrois. It had a 24 hour alarm which is unusual as it was kept wound by the going train (see picture and description - Allix Chapter VIII 'The Rarer French Carriage Clocks'). It also has a lever which would have switched the alarm off - it apparently would sound for a short while each day unless switched to silent. It is being sold for spares or repair as it has a bad balance and unfortunately at some time most of the alarm work, including the setting arbor, has been taken out. I have pictured the alarm side of the clock in detail. An interesting restoration project. Please see my other carriage clocks I have for sale (postage can be combined), and message me if you need any further information. Postage/shipping charge applies only to the first item purchased . To qualify for combined postage on your items, you must make one single payment for all your items after you have finished ordering. If in doubt, please wait before paying and we will send you an eBay invoice, as soon as we can, after you have completed your order.Condition:KM5771 - See pictures and description, Age:Antique, Pre-1900, Material:Brass, Type:Mantel/ Carriage Clock, Features:8-Day, Sub-Type:Carriage Clock, Clock Type:Mantel/ Carriage Clock, Style/ Origin/ Theme:French
