WOW! Here we have a superb, extremely rare, beautiful antique cigar box. I have acquired a wonderful collection of 3 cigar boxes, all of which are listed separately in my listings. I am hopeless at distinguishing types of wood, I think this is probably Oak or Mahogany? Anyway this is a top quality, genuine Victorian period piece. I absolutely LOVE the mirror plate with contrasting gold lettering on a blue background which really makes this a stand out piece. This would have been used as a shop counter display or possibly carried by a waiter and offered to customers. This is a perfect piece to add to a Victorian shop display, office desk or a collection of cigar boxes. It measures approximately 11.5 inches by 7 inches by 3.25 inches. This is the only one on eBay so get it or regret it - good luck finding another!! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
