Rare Antique STRAUSS Teddy Bear 1907 Ken Yenke Appraised - Old Mohair American
A rare and wonderful early American antique bear by Strauss! Authenticated and appraised by the late Ken Yenke, a foremost authority on antique bears. This sweet old bear is in remarkable condition for his age. He measures about 14 inches tall when standing and is fully jointed. Feels like he is stuffed with straw. His mohair is wonderfully soft, and although lightly worn in a few places, looks great for its age. His nose and mouth stitching have worn, as you can see in the photographs. This wonderful bear has loads of character and is in need of a new home! Please see the many photographs for the best idea of this special bear and his condition.
