Seller: timerunner56 (949) 100%, Location: Bournemouth, Dorset, Ships to: GB & many other countries, Item: 293146130518 Quality Mahogany Regency Double Fusee English Bracket Clock Delightful and top quality London made Bracket clock with 5 knobled pillars, not the usual 4, a true sign of quality. It has thick plates which are nicely shaped. The movement needs a full clean and service but isn't rusty. The bell stand and bell looks like a replacement? I have an old bell stand and bell that is included that may be able to be used and adjusted . The dial and movement are original to each other. On the back of the dial there is information about 'Mr L Hunt of Clapham 1856 + 1860, then a new name and 1870? The clock is running and striking and when hands are manually rotated it strikes when it should. It runs for a few hours then stops. The pendulum is there as is the bezel (repair to the hinge) and convex glass has a chip near hing which is hard to see when closed The dial is also convex and looks good with nice hands but would look better with a name on it . The name might be behind the dial or on the trade label inside the case? The bezel and back door locks and the key is present. The hinge is a replacement and the escutcheon looks good and originalNeeds a repair mainly to the sides and top, possibly re-veneering? The front has great mahogany veneer with a lovely colour and brass inlay looks good . There are two lovely Gothic side frets which look original. There are two lion ring handles which might not be original. A delightful Regency Bracket clock that is offered as seen for restoration/parts as a very interesting project with no returns or guarantee. I'm sure with a good clean and service that this clock would work well and is priced to allow for the restoration to case etcPostal costs refer to UK mainland addressesHappy to answer any questions, either via message or phone ( 07761 432112 ) Terms and ConditionsAll my items are sold for restoration and consequently sold as seen without a guarantee.
