The case looks like bur walnut? so would have been extremely expensive when new. Superb quality workmanship with very fine fretted sides. The case has some worm holes see pics, The dial is very good and the chapter ring is silvered and engraved. The hands are good but need a pin to hold them in place. The glass is thick and bevelled. The case is in need of repair and repolishing. The movement has the 'Lenzkirch' name stamped onto it along with the number '860628' and 'no44'. The movement is ting tang on two gongs and comes with its key and pendulum (no keys for locks). Although not working it does tick sporadically.
