An Old Plaque with a MANU PWO CHOKWE mask. The presentation of a role model for a young woman. These were used during festivities around initiation ceremonies.
Beautiful plaque and mask, made with an eye for detail. With scarifications and the familiar coffee bean eyes. Made out of one piece of wood.
Good condition, traces of use and some possible wear and tear. Split on top and bottom of plaque Take a good look at the pictures.
