Seller: timerunner56 (820) 100%, Location: Bournemouth, Dorset, Ships to: GB & many other countries, Item: 292524818090 Nice French Walnut Cased Mantle Clock Timepiece A nice French 19th century mantle clock in a walnut veneered and ebony case. This delightful small sized clock, measuring just 8in tall x 8.5in wide x 4.5in deep is in very nice shape. The case has some inevitable scatches, splits and also has what looks like a few historical worm holes which have been repaired (see photos). The front bezel and its glass look good while the back door is also good and has a few very interesting labels attached to it. The movement is signed by well known top French maker 'Japy Freres' and is nice and clean. The spring is good and fully wound and comes with its original pendulum stamped '985'. A nice genuine clock that is working but will require a good clean and service to work as it should, so is sold as seen for restoration/parts with no returns.
