Seller: timerunner56 (980) 100%, Location: Bournemouth, Dorset, Ships to: GB & many other countries, Item: 293144643092 Nice English Double Fusee Bracket ClockA top quality English small sized double fusee Bracket clock with a wonderful engraved dial. The dial has a makers plaque on it 'J.C Jennens & Sons, Great Sutton Street, London' in a delightful case. The silvered chapter ring has engraved numbers all of the highest quality, superb engraving. The hands are also delightful. There is also a silvered subsidiary dial with a strike silent. The very heavy movement is full of quality with a typical London regulator pendulum. The 4 pillar movement is very clean and still on its chains, and has the same name etched onto the front plate which confirms they are original to each other. The movement is complete but it has not been running for many years. The hands do move around manually as they should. It does click but doesn't strike. I believe that there is very little wrong with this clock, its just been inactive for so long. Good original pendulum and gong locking nut. Brass feet are also good on this clock which is very well cast especially the 4 finials and carrying handle, excellent side frets and mount. The gong has a good deep tone to it. Measures 15.5in tall x 10.5in wide & 7.5in deep. Top quality English double fusee Bracket clock in a rare smaller size sold as seen, not working but complete for restoration only with no guarantee. It would probably work with a good clean and service.Happy to answer any questions, either via message or phone ( 07761 432112 ) Terms and ConditionsAll my items are sold for restoration and consequently sold as seen without a guarantee.
