Nice Antique Chinese KANGXI Blue & White Porcelain Jar, Foo Dog Decoration

Description   We are pleased to offer this fine antique Chinese blue and white porcelain jar. It is decorated with qilin in three separate panels. It dates to the Kangxi period. It stands a little over 8 inches tall and is a little over 8 inches wide. There is a fine crack which runs through the base, up through the sides and over the shoulder of the jar. At the shoulder, the line is intersected by several other fine hairlines. There is what appears to be old glue residue in this crack, it must have been glued, but the line is fine, please see photos. There is minor wear from age and use, but no other cracks. This antique Chinese blue and white porcelain jar is fresh from an old estate.
