Seller: midcenturymarvels (193) 100%, Location: Romford, Ships to: Worldwide, Item: 273070620614 This is a lovely Bauhaus-style Pragotron clock from 1950s communist Czechoslovakia. It's a lovely example of the functional, minimalist style that peaked in the middle of the last century. These clocks were to be found in civic buildings, railway stations and offices throughout Czechoslovakia and the Eastern bloc. It was originally a slave clock, but has been converted to a modern quartz movement that runs off just a single AA battery. It keeps excellent time and is in lovely condition for its age. It has the odd age related mark, but nothing that draws the eye. It has a 32cm diameter and is 6.5cm deep. I'll post the next working day. Please message me with any questions or for a quote for international postage Thanks for looking.
