Item:292979055832A Best Offer May Be Considered Before The End of The Auction, So Don’t Be Afraid To Ask. Late 19th Early 20th Century Ornate German 1/2hour Striking Wall Clock. Circa 1880 Stamped DRMC I inherited this clock and had it for many years in my last house on the wall working fine. I did set about tidying it up and as you can see, I cast from an original, 8 further rosettes, (the originals being cast in some sort of plaster themselves). There are additional bottom finials with also some spares to complete the bottom. Since then, for nearly 10 years it has sat under the bed in my stepmothers house with a sheet over it and never got around to finishing it. It just needs the parts applied/painted and a good polish and it would come up a treat. Lots of these clocks have lost their tops, so to have this on intact is a big bonus. Please see photos as they form part of the description. The photos don't really do it justice as in the flesh it is much nicer and I apologise for the unavoidable light reflections in the photos. Dimensions: Total Height approx 108cmWidth at base approx 45.5cmDepth at base approx 19.5cm Being a large clock and fragile it would be unwise to send, so collection is preferable as I will not be held responsible if it gets broken and you are buying this clock based on this condition of sale if you do have it posted. I am happy to deliver within 30 miles of Tunbridge Wells r meet part way if under that distance. Any queries please call 07731. 564008 Please remember as with all Antique and secondhand items, please be your own judge About age, condition and description before purchasing as I am not an expert in such things.
