They were then painted in red, green, and gray overglaze enamels and gilt, and fired again. The inner sides of the bowl are painted with alternating stylized Dutchmen and brocade reserves. The back is painted in cobalt with floral scrolling and red and gilt flowers. There are blue rings above and inside the footring which is unglazed. The base is glazed. You can see the circular lines under the base glaze of the potters wheel. There are no marks or labels. MEASUREMENTS 6” wide. 1 ¾” tall. Weighs 8.6 oz CONDITION There are no cracks, chips or breaks.
