Mazda MX-5 Turbo
I'm now living in London so no need for a car anymore hence the sale! Its has had quite a few mods so running over 200hp and has been such a blast! Its a Eunos MX-5 as its an import. Its done 173582km. Within the last year the head gasket has been replaced with new timing belt and valve seals and other water coolant gaskets etc, a new clutch, new gearbox oil, new front brake pads, new fuel lines all around. The passengers side window seems rather stiff so will need to be loosened up a bit. As I'm in London I just haven't had the time to look at it. The tyres are Toyo Proxes T1R's 215/45R all around. Very sticky tyres and handle very well!
The Mods are as follows:
- Custom Turbo manifold with Turbo.
- ITG air filter
- Innovate Wideband Sensor
- Blow off valve
- Custom Fuel rail
- Highflow fuel injectors
- Highflow fuel pump
- Stainless Steel Through exhaust. Sound super!
- Large intercooler
- ACT clutch.
- custom air intake pipework
- Corbeau racing seat on drivers side
- Luke harness
- Custom Role Cage
- Digital air fuel ration and boost gauges. (boost gauge seems to be playing up)
- Series 2 soft top with heated glass rear window
- Racing Steering wheel. gives nice quick steering
- Widened wheelbase to adopt the diff from a series 2.
- Aftermarket deep dish wheels to take the sticky rubber. Could do with a bit of a refurb. :)
- Megasquirt ECU controls the turbo mod which is located under the passenger footwell.
- Polybushes kit on all the bushes. Makes the handling very tight.
- Gaz Gold pro adjustable suspension. Gives height/stiffness and damping adjustment. Really nice for setting up for setting up to your driving style.
I'm going to be very sad top see it go as its been such good fun! I just don't use it anymore now I'm in London. It doesn't have tax or MOT anymore so you'll have to sort that yourself. the MOT run out in September 2017.
Engine Runs very Sweet. Its the 1.6 which matches a bit nicer than the 1.8 as it loves to rev! its Mapped to a nice and safe boost so there is definitely more power to be had out of this engine for sure. sorry I can't remember what boost its been maped to...
Its only been run on high octane fuel so no crap should be found in the fuel system. Whats more I get 40mpg on a run! if I do long journeys its up to 45mpg!
