Seller: basserb (5.082) 100%, Location: Exeter, Devon, Ships to: Americas, Europe, Asia, AU, Item: 291842624254 Condition: In good working condition with a few chips can be seen in pictures., Type: Mantel clock, Material: Marble/ Stone, Features: Keys, Winders, Details: A vintage Slate/stone mantel clock standing 10.5" x 8" x 5" (27cm x 20cm x 13cm) The case is good with a nice flower design, no pieces missing just a few small chips one on each bottom front corner, and the largest is about 15mm x 4mm, but as you can imagine they are hard to see being Black. The ceramic face bevelled door, and hands are also in good condition with no damage, and has on it Pearce & Sons Paris. There is no makers mark on the movement, but there is a Brass plate to the front with 1899, and if there was more on it is now worn away. On the base infill is 4787 cut into the stone. On the pendulum and is very small TE S.G.L.C. I have removed the movement, cleaned, lubricated with the correct oil, polished the case, and reassembled. I am not a clock expert, but I will have a go. It has been Blacked, but not to a professional standard. The key pictured is not the same key that will be with the clock, but just about the same. It is ticking away happily next to me, but once it has been in the post may have to be set up by someone that has clock experience. If you can't do this yourself or do not know anyone, you will be purchasing this clock at your own risk. I have many more clocks listed. Our Selling Policies Payment.
