Description A lovely genuine English a ntique early 19th Century Georgian solid sterling silver toddy whisky/cream ladle by the silversmith Hannah Howard (1816 - 1823) in good condition and with full English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1819. Very nice quality and a genuine 205 years old; a nice more uncommon smaller size, it has a circular silver bowl and is complete with its original twisted horn handle with silver mounted end. As a bonus there are no added personal inscriptions.
Measurements Measures approx 10.55 inches (270mm) in length; the bowl measures 1.55 inches (39mm) in diameter. Date English antique Georgian solid sterling silver, with full English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1819 , (date letter "v"). Good clear silver marks and includes the silver duty stamp of King George the Third . The silversmiths initials are "H H", (Hannah Howard - 1816 - 1823). Condition Good condition with no splits or repairs, definitely no wear/polish holes and no knocks or dents, a lovely genuine antique example, looks only little used. The original twisted horn handle is also still in good condition, has little split in the horn but is totally secure and has its silver mounted end cap.
