These luxurious shaped girth dressage cover offers the ultimate in comfort. Designed to contour around the girth with the rolled edge protecting the sides of your horse's sides from the leather girth. Soft Merino+ Lambswool on one side with a rolled edge and cotton fabric on reverse with two elastic and two adjustable velcro straps that can be pinched tight to accommodate width variations. This design is suited to most popular brands of contoured shaped dressage/event/short jumping girths. If washed carefully on a wool cycle (max 30 degrees), with preferably WoolSkin or non-biological powder or liquid these lambswool pads will give long service. ALWAYS air dry. NEVER place directly near a heat source. The lambswool in your Merino+ pad will volumise once it's opened from its packaging and gain in depth & density as it absorbs moisture and air. Its' feel & flexibility will also improve the more you wash it. We recommend using a wash bag in the washing machine. Please ensure all velcro is closed firmly prior to washing. Warning: In rare cases dye from black wool items may leak from wool items giving a slight blue tint. Staining of grey coats can occur which can easily be resolved with washing. A pre-wash is advised before use. Fitting Instructions: Correct fitting of the two centre velcro straps is essential to prevent any slipping of the cover on the girth. Pull first velcro strap over girth and tuck end underneath. Then pull top velcro strap firmly the other way and attach, thus creating a ‘pinch point’ for maximum security of the cover. Ensure when fitting your cover to your girth the tabs are pointing towards the back  (as per images shown).
