This is an item that is called in Colombia "Tumbaga",  meaning an alloy of gold and copper mixture used in South and Central America.

Gold-copper alloy made  from the authentic "lost wax" method  from  Colombia. The Large Scorpion is a rare, custom-made piece of art, crafted out of copper gold tumbaga. 

All our tumbagas are brought in legally, with the permission forms  from the "Instituto de Cultura Y Palrimonio de Antioquia, Colombia".
