Vintage Chinese Export Necklace Hand Painted Large Porcelain Beads Clown Faces.
1930's Art Deco Chinese Export Necklace featuring hand painted pictures of clowns. There are 25 beads, each 2 cm in length, painted in red blue and yellow on a white background. Each poreclain bead is separated by 2 small red glass beads with a slightly larger black bead between them.
These beads are rare and very collectable. Because of their delicate make, not many have survived from the 1930's. This necklace is in near perfect condition. There is no slack in the thread, and none of the beads are damaged.
Whilst every effort is made to accurately describe the item, there may be the odd defect that has been missed. For this reason, I urge you to study the photographs carefully before committing to a purchase.
Please study the pictures as they form an integral part of the description. Unless stated otherwise, stands and boxes are for display purposes only and are not included in the sale.
All sales are posted in velvet pouches or a box and are securely wrapped so that they arrive safely at their new home. Wherever possible, I try to use recycled packaging, as all my profits go to support cats rescue.
Please take a moment to look at my other listings, which include silver, Chanel, Tiffany & Co, Whitby Jet, amber, semi-precious stones, crystal, glass, and coral. I also have a number of mixed job lots, with plenty of bargains.
Thank you for looking 🍀
