19th/20th cent. Brass lantern clock, after Thomas Mudge with bell on top and doors on all sides floral decorated and signed dial. The movement marked W & H Sch for Winterhalder & Hofmeier. 15ins. high x 5½ins. wide.
The clock is in good working order.
This large German W&H lantern clock has been made in an English style. Encased in brass, it features an 8 day Ting Tang movement and is thought to date back to late 1800. Striking on the top mounted and rear bells.
The brass case has darkened from age that you would expect, The 8-day movement is clean and fully working but I have misplaced the pendulum so it will need to be replaced.
