It is hand painted in under glaze blue, nanten (nandina) red berry pattern in over glazed red, marked to base with Koransha logo. Very good condition. No chips or cracks. . The plate gives a good sharp ring when it is tapped by the finger tip Note: some minor kiln flaws such as dust-like sand trapped on or in the glaze, somewhat irregular asymmetrical forms & shapes, wobbliness, brown pimple like burn spots- these are typical characters of antique Japanese porcelain.
