This is a complete kit for the removal of both O2 sensors.

Compatible models:   KTM 1190 Adventure    2013-2016

KTM 1090 Adventure /R 2017-2019

Includes 2 Stainless Steel Blanking bolts fitted with copper sealing washers

and a pair of 200mm cable tie to secure O2 sensor wiring away from any hot parts after fitting

Fitted with rubber end caps to protect electronic components

Supplied with printed fitting instructions for Sensor eliminators.

The O2 sensor located inside the exhaust is used to detect the emissions from the engine.

The O2 sensors are fitted to enable the ECU to weaken the fuel mixture to comply with the emission standards and in certain throttle positions (mainly mid-range) will try to lean the mixture too much. This is good for the emissions but not for the performance and smoothness of the engine. With the elimination of the sensor: Improve throttle response, with smoother power delivery and more torque available Support Fuel Injection modifications like Power Commander or V&H Fuelpak and other mods that require the elimination of the sensor. Or you might simply want to disable a faulty o2 sensor.  If you don't want to remove the sensor from the exhaust but just want to bypass it then this kit is available without the exhaust blanking bolts in another listing.
