Seller: timerunner56 (908) 100%, Location: Bournemouth, Dorset, Ships to: GB & many other countries, Item: 293067405803 Interesting Chinese Verge Double Fusee Bracket Clock Delightful and very interesting Chinese verge double chain fusee table or bracket clock. The verge movement strikes on 2 bells, striking twice at quarter past, four times at half past, six times at quarter to the hour. It then strikes the hours, two at two o'clock, three at three etc. The dial is enamel and in terrific condition with beautifully shaped hands, including a seconds hand which is a very rare feature. The fabulously engraved surround is in great condition and has Chinese alphabet characters which I don't know what they mean? This is an old clock, not entirely sure how old. It is working and running but will require a full clean and service so sold as seen for restoration only with no guarantee. This movement is still on its chains and comes with its key and pendulum. There are no feet which might have been because this is a table top model. Not sure what wood the case is made from but looks like a hardwood which is nicely decorated with flowers on the sides with two small windows below showing the movement. Measures 13.25in high x 11.5in wide x 6in deep. I always take great care in packing my items for transit, on this occasion this means removing the movement from the case for shipping. An extremely rare clock that is offered as a very interesting restoration project with no returns.Postal costs refer to UK mainland addressesHappy to answer any questions, either via message or phone ( 07761 432112 ) Terms and ConditionsAll my items are sold for restoration and consequently sold as seen without a guarantee.
